Thank you for purchasing the Sprynk Smart Planter. This device is designed to monitor soil moisture levels, update data via WiFi, and aid in watering plants. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

3. Product Overview
Power Input: 5V via USB-C
Indicators: Blue WiFi Status indicator and Red Power Indicator
Function: This device uses a sensor to collect soil moisture data, and uses that data in conjunction with user input shared over WiFi to schedule watering with a small pump from the water reservoir.
4. Safety and Warnings
- Do not submerge the device. Water may enter the electronics housing, especially through the power port.
- Operate in dry, indoor environments only, in temperatures between 32°F and 95°F (0°C to 35°C) and relative humidity below 80%.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the product.
- This device is not intended for use by children.
- Use only USB power sources that are certified to IEC/UL 62368-1 standards, 5V output, 500 mA minimum.
- Use only the provided USB-A to USB-C cable or a certified replacement. Using non-compliant cables may cause overheating, fire, or damage.
- Do not use the device if the USB cable or power adapter is frayed, damaged, or exposed. Contact sprynk.team@gmail.com for a replacement.
- Keep the device away from water sources such as sinks, bathtubs, or pools, except for the designed water reservoir.
- Do not place the device in direct sunlight or near heat sources (e.g., radiators, stoves), as this may damage components or affect sensor accuracy.
- The Sprynk Smart Planter is designed for standard potting soils and common houseplants. Certain soil types (e.g., high clay or sand content) or specific plants (e.g., succulents, orchids) may require additional manual monitoring.
- Do not use with toxic or allergenic plants, as water or soil contact may pose health risks to children or pets.
- Connect the device only to secure Wi-Fi networks to protect your data. Public or unsecured Wi-Fi networks may expose your device to unauthorized access.
- Regularly check the water reservoir for leaks and clean the pump to prevent clogs, which could lead to device malfunction or plant damage.
- Consult a healthcare provider if you have a pacemaker or other medical device, as the Sprynk Smart Planter’s Wi-Fi and electronics may emit low-level electromagnetic fields.
- This device may not be suitable for users with severe visual or motor impairments. Refer to the user guide for accessibility features or contact support.
